Winter holds its magical moments in Lenggries. Here you can expect a snow paradise that will delight skiers and snowboarders alike.

Carve through the fresh powder snow on the Brauneck – the Lenggries house mountain – and feel the wind in your face on the perfectly groomed slopes. For those who prefer it a little more leisurely, romantic winter hikes through snow-covered forests, varied cross-country ski trails or fast sledding adventures are available. And after an active day in the snow, Lenggries invites you to cozy hut evenings with hearty Bavarian delicacies and rustic atmosphere.

Skiing & Snowboarding

“Board enthusiasts” will find a well-developed ski circus on the Brauneck – the house mountain of famous ski racers such as Martina and Andreas Ertl, Michaela, Hilde and Annemarie Gerg – from December to the end of March.

34 km of slopes and 19 lift facilities await you between Lenggries and Wegscheid. The area is a paradise for children, but also sporty ambitious skiers will find perfectly groomed slopes in all levels of difficulty.

The longest valley descent is 6 km, the most challenging descent overcomes 800 meters of altitude on 4 km of length. Come and enjoy perfect ski days on the Brauneck!

Cross-Country Skiing & Skating

Cross-country skiing enthusiasts appreciate the trails in Lenggries and the surrounding area. Experience perfectly groomed trails for the sporty runner with skating technique and diagonal stride. In addition to 42 km of well-maintained trails in the town area and a total of 112 km of trails in the surrounding area, there is also a 1.5 km long night trail with floodlights north of the valley station of the Brauneck mountain railway to the Gilgenhöfe.

Especially snow-sure and recommended: the Jachenau and Rißbachtal trails.

Dogs are not allowed on the Lenggries trails.
