In the “gateway to the Karwendel” many insider tips are waiting for discoverers. The nature around Lenggries offers one of the most varied hiking regions of all. The highest mountain is the 2106 meter high Schafreuter in the Karwendel.
Extraordinary views and rustic huts, on the other hand, await on the Lenggries house mountain, the Brauneck (1556 meters). One of the most beautiful Lenggries hiking jewels of all is the Höhenweg here, which many have declared to be their absolute favorite tours.
The region offers not only challenging mountain tours, but also attractive foot marches for all facets, including easy routes along the Isar or on managed alpine pastures.
